1. Information We Collect

Within this demonstration environment, data collection is strictly limited to simulation variables required to demonstrate online auction functionality. This includes:

  • Profile identity details (demonstration username and contact email).
  • Paddle registration records and simulation addresses submitted for bidding approval.
  • Bidding records, proxy ceilings, timestamped increments, and watchlist selections.
  • Consignment valuation inquiries and simulated physical inspection notes.
  • Newsletter subscription emails entered voluntarily through the site.

2. Local Storage and Client-Side Persistence

All state changes—including bids placed, paddle registrations, authentication certificates, and watchlist items—are persisted exclusively in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). No data is transmitted to an external database or commercial tracking provider.

You may reset all stored demo state at any time by clearing your browser cache or clicking "Reset to empty" within the admin control settings.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

Tigaketuk does not sell, rent, license, or share user data with any third-party commercial entities, advertisers, or data brokers. Catalog imagery is sourced under public domain and Creative Commons licenses from Wikimedia Commons and is displayed for academic and research purposes only.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

This website does not use third-party analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or telemetry beacons. Session identification relies entirely on client-side state hooks to maintain the simulation experience during your browser session.

5. User Rights and Data Deletion

Because all simulation records reside directly on your device, you maintain full control over your data. You may inspect, modify, or permanently delete all stored auction records at any moment by clearing your browser application storage or navigating to our Admin Console.

6. Contact and Inquiries
